Innopolis University will hold the First International Project School on Self-driven Vehicles in Russia

The event is aimed for bachelors, masters, postdocs and young researchers. The authors of the best applications will receive grant, that covers participation, meals and accommodation. Registration is open until March 4.

Innopolis University will hold the First International Project School on Self-driven Vehicles in Russia

The school will be held as a competition from 6 to 13 April. The participants will be divided into groups and will work on their own project in the field of self-driven vehicles under the guidance of experts of the Center for technology of robotics and mechatronics components of Innopolis University. At the end, the developers will present their practical results, including the ways of their commercialization.

In addition to the competitive part, the school will hold educational seminars and lectures on self-driven vehicles and driver assistance, navigation, recognition of road space, control algorithms, interaction of passengers with vehicles and car interaction with environment and other participants of the traffic in different situations.

"The purpose of the project school is to solve applied and scientific problems. Therefore, after project completion, the participants will have a possibility of an internship in the Autonomous Transportation Systems Laboratory and implement their developments in existing projects," said Alexandr Klimchik, Head of the Center for Technologies in Robotics and Mechatronics Components of Innopolis University.

Participation fee is 15 000 rubles for Russian citizens and 200 euros for residents of other countries. The registration (participation) fee includes meal option, accommodation and educational materials. The working language is English.
