Engineers of the Future is a competition helping young IT entrepreneurs aged 14-18 years to present their projects to potential investors, get feedback and business acceleration support to bring the project to the level of a successful startup.

Stages of the competition:

  • Selection round at the portal ProjeKTOoriYA: June 13-23;

  • Onsite round at the Russian Forum of Future Intelligent Leaders: September 1-4. 

Students of secondary schools or colleges aged 14 — 18 years who designed projects in the sphere of health care, energy industry, material science, transport, information technology and space science are welcome to participate.

All students willing to take part in the competition need to register on the web-site, fill in the application form and file a proposal containing a description of your project: proektoria.online/konkurs

Project can have working prototypes based on a high-technology solution.

Each proposal will be reviewed by experts. To pass the selection round participants need to gain a maximum overall grade. If more than one project gets an equal number of scores, experts will consider project-related experience and the participant’s activity at the portal”.

Those who will reach the final of the first round will take part in the startup of the Russian Forum of Future Intelligent Leaders in Yaroslavl, where the young people will improve their project together with experts and other delegates and present it to representatives of business development institutions, mentors and venture investors at the final stage of the competition. Supervisors of participants who received awards in the selection round will be involved in a teaching program of the forum.

Winners and their supervisors will get fully covered accommodation, meal and transportation costs during the forum.

The competition is supported by the Russian Forum of Future Intelligent Leaders, Lift to the Future program, Vadus Kritikus platform, Moscow Polytechnic University, ITMO University and National University of Science and Technology.



ProjeKTOoriYA is a Russian interactive project system for early career guidance designed to support talented schoolchildren highly motivated to study natural science and engineering disciplines. Building of a professional trajectory for each schoolchild is made under guidance of higher education institutions, companies and business societies.

The project is implemented under financial support allocated by public authorities according to the executive Order of the President of the Russian Federation No. 68-рп as of 05.04.2016 on the basis of a competition held by the Russian social organization Russian Rectors' Union.
