Innopolis University and “Mann, Ivanov and Ferber” released Learning Agile

A Russian edition of Learning Agile: Understanding Scrum, XP, Lean, and Kanban by Andrew Stellman, Jennifer Greene appeared on the market due to joint efforts of the IT University and “Mann, Ivanov and Ferber”, publisher of business literature.

Authors of the book — Andrew Stellman, Jennifer Greene — are well-known agile coaches. Andrew Stellman is a software developer, architect, project leader, and expert in advanced software development. Jennifer Greene, is a world expert in modern software engineering practices and approaches, development manager, business analyst, project manager, and tester.

“The book is about a new software development ideology. Agile methods and principles described in the book will help to improve not just the work procedure but also interaction among team members. People are the most important resource, — commented Kirill Semenikhin, Director of Innopolis University. — The key idea is simple — be agile to avoid failure. It may seem obvious but do not be confused – it is not that simple. The book both explains and illustrates the importance of being agile using real examples”.

According to the Director, the book combines two major topics — ideological principles and practical methods of Agile: “Both issues are presented in depth and complemented by interesting real-life cases. Authors of the book inspire and teach how to manage human resources correctly to save time and money during a regular project work”.

The new edition is available on the web site of the publisher “Mann, Ivanov and Ferber”.
