The IT University and Echelon agreed on joint training of IT experts, search and implementation of new technological solutions and realization of R&D projects in the field of cybersecurity.

The parties signed the agreement on May 24 at the CIPR Conference. The agreement covers join work in the following areas: improvement of legislative and regulatory framework, information exchange, IT security issues in joint projects, development and implementation of the federal, regional and other target programs and projects. Besides, the cooperation will help to create and promote the federal state standards of higher education.

According to Alexey Markov, CEO at NPO “Echelon”, “At the moment we can see how Innopolis University is integrating one of the segments of the future Russian “intellectual elite”. It is a common knowledge that success of IT companies often depends on creative skills and talents of their employees. For this reason, we have great expectations for mutually beneficial cooperation primarily based on innovative technologies in the field of cybersecurity.

Kirill Semenikhin, Director of Innopolis University noticed: “Cooperation with Echelon is a chance to expand opportunities of Innopolis University. Students will be able to do internships, work on industrial projects of the partner, and participate in the automatization of industrial enterprises of Russia and the CIS countries”.
