International internships

Innopolis University invites foreign students to do a research internship in one of its laboratories and research units. This type of internship allows students to expand their practical knowledge in IT and Robotics.

About Research Internship

The minimum term of research internship is 2 months. Students are free to choose the most convenient internship period.

Innopolis University will provide the full administrative support: documents necessary for visa (invitation), booking accommodation in the dormitory, orientation etc. Students are responsible for all expenses related to accommodation, travel, visa, etc..

Requirements to Candidates:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor/Master’s degree or PhD;
  • Relevant experience in the chosen internship area;
  • Proficiency in English language (Russian is not required);

Procedure

Choose a suitable research unit of Innopolis University and send a request to the Office of International and Academic Cooperation - s.karapetyan@innopolis.ru; i.lyamina@innopolis.ru. Please attach the following documents:

  • Academic transcript;
  • CV (if you were involved in any similar field-specific projects, be sure to specify them);
  • Motivation letter;
  • English language certificate (if any).

Students will have an interview with a representative of the university (in English). In case of a successful interview, Innopolis University will send you an official invitation to do a research internship.

Students of Innopolis University can do a summer internship in one of the top international research organizations. Students are not limited in choice of a research internship place by the list of partner universities of Innopolis University.
Please note that this opportunity does not extend to industrial internships.

Procedure

Students shall coordinate the chosen internship place (university, research organization, etc.) with the Office of International and Academic Cooperation in advance. Once the choice is approved, the student shall submit all necessary documents to the host institution in accordance with applicable requirements. Innopolis University will provide its students with all relevant supporting documents i.e. academic transcript, certificate of study, etc.

In case of successful selection procedure, students fill out their Internship Journals after they have finished doing the internship. Certain fields of the Internship Journal are for the research supervisor of the host institution (signature of the research supervisor and the official seal of the host institution are required).
